EUFOR saw the official transition from the long serving Mi-17 to the new and highly capable H225M helicopter. The H225M from Hungarian Defence Forces modernizes #EUFOR’s capabilities and more importantly strengthens our collective ability to aid our local partners in the stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We look forward to the service and abilities it can provide to the mission.
The newest addition to EUFOR was by Major General László Sticz as a “This transition symbolizes both progress and promise, not just for our military forces but for the wider security and prosperity of this nation”.
Commander EUFOR also expressed his thanks to the outgoing Aviation Detachment team of the Mi17 who performed to an excellent standard during their tour. We wish them all the best in the future careers and thank them for their service in EUFOR.
