Commander EUFOR was joined by a representative of EUSR in BiH to open the hangar. In his address, Commander EUFOR Major General László Sticz thanked the various nations, the EU and local contractors for all the work and support they have given this project.
DPW Chief Tom Lynam outlined in his address his thanks to all those who participated in the completion of this project, he also noted the high levels of work that took place to get the hanger to its inauguration day.
The project has been financed through the European Peace Facility.
The newest addition adds to EUFOR’s ability to continue to assist in the provision of a stable and safe environment in BiH.
