EUFOR respects cultures and customs of all nations. Continuing with the new tradition of national weeks the soldiers of EUFOR got the opportunity to learn and experience the national customs and culture of Italy.
The Italian contingent organized a programme of events for the week. This included:
Military: Display of Italian military equipment, commemoration of Italian fallen soldiers, flag raising during opening and closing ceremonies.
Sports: Beach volleyball and table soccer competition
Cuisine: Pasta making class, and pizza&pasta party
Culture: Italian disco evening and Italian culture quiz
Members of EUFOR from all 23 nations participated and enjoyed these events!
