COM EUFOR Major General László Sticz met with State Secretary for Defence Policy, Force Development and Defence Industry of the Hungarian Ministry of Defence Zsolt Kutnyánszky and Major General Zoltán Somogyi, Director of Staff of the Hungarian General Staff.
Following a briefing about the current security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the delegation observed a static and dynamic capability demonstration of EUFOR maneuver forces, Aviation Detachment and Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team.
The visitors arrived to Camp Butmir by air, with an Airbus H225M of the Hungarian Air Forces that was introduced to the EUFOR HQ staff as this type of helicopter is planned to replace EUFOR’s Mi-17 in October for transportation purposes.
