On 3 February EUFOR’s French contingent organised a pancake party in Camp Butmir.

Thanks to the donations and the money raised, the students of the Centre for Blind and Partially Sighted Children and Youth were recently presented with gifts.

The presentation was attended by the French Ambassador H.E. Christine Toudic, a delegation from the Embassy of France in BiH staff and a representative from the French contingent.

During the presentation the students performed a number of songs and played a video which they had produced. The group then presented each student with their individual gift.

Members of the French contingent commented that this was a special moment and thanked those who participated in the event and made this project possible.
