On Wednesday 20 April 2016, the EU Strategic Communications (EUSC) Meeting was hosted by EUFOR in Camp Butmir.
This meeting, held for the first time in the EUFOR HQ in Camp Butmir, was a great opportunity to inform and update the representatives of the EU Family in Bosnia and Herzegovina on the EUFOR Mission and the current mandated objectives.

“Knowing how important good cooperation on the working level is to achieve success, I would like to welcome the attendees of today’s EU Strategic Communications Meeting at Camp Butmir” said Commander EUFOR, Major General Friedrich Schrӧtter.

This visit not only included an update brief on the Mission and its important mandated role here in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also acted as an opportunity for all EU Embassy Representatives to ask questions about the important contribution of so many EU Nations, and exchange ideas on our continued support of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The EUSC is a monthly meeting which is led by the EU Special Representative’s (EUSR) Communications Team, based in Sarajevo.  Attendances are from a working level and include all EUSR Communication Team members, and Spokespersons from EU Embassies and EU Entities.
