Sarajevo, 12 February 2026 – Commander EUFOR, Major General Maurizio Fronda, met with the United States Chargé d’Affaires to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. John Ginkel, for a constructive exchange on the current security environment.

The discussion focused on ongoing developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region, as well as the importance of continued coordination between international partners. Both interlocutors reaffirmed their shared commitment to stability and lasting peace.
