Today, 26 August 2025, COM EUFOR Major General Florin Marian Barbu had the honor of welcoming Operational Commander Lieutenant General Ludovic PINON de QUINCY to Camp Butmir.
To mark the occasion, Lieutenant General PINON de QUINCY was received with an Honor Guard from the Multinational Battalion, as the EU Anthem echoed across the parade square.
For the first time at EUFOR HQ, the Operational Commander expressed his full support for COM EUFOR and the Command Team, stating:
“It is a real pleasure and honor to meet EUFOR members here at Camp Butmir and to express my unwavering support for your work in ensuring that all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina enjoy a safe and secure country.”
During the visit, Lieutenant General Ludovic PINON de QUINCY was briefed regarding the security situation in BiH and had constructive discussions with the EUFOR staff.
COM EUFOR expressed his gratitude to Lieutenant General PINON de QUINCY for his presence and emphasized his sincere appreciation for his support.
