Commander EUFOR, Major General Reinhard Trischak, led a ceremony unveiling a new memorial dedicated to the remembrance of all fallen soldiers of the Bosnian War.

Commander EUFOR, Major General Reinhard Trischak, has conveyed his congratulations to the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina as they celebrate the 15th anniversary of their formation.

On November 21, The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Josep Borrell, visited EUFOR headquarters at Camp Butmir, Sarajevo, as part of his visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina on the 25th Anniversary of the agreement of the Dayton Accords.

Today in Čajniče, the Slovakian contingent to EUFOR based at LOT Foča donated parcels to the local kindergarten. The Slovakian Soldiers donated toys, books, blankets and drawing stationary to the children. In these confusing times for children so young it was a welcome surprise.

COS EUFOR, Brigadier General Ernő Baráth joined members of the United Kingdom element of EUFOR to pay their respects to those killed during all global conflict.

This week has been busy for the Multinational Battalion of EUFOR. In partnership with the EU Delegation in BiH and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), they have been facilitating the logistical arrangements to deliver medical supplies.

A specialist EUFOR countermines team visited the OLOVO municipality recently, monitoring a demining site of the BiH Armed Forces Demining Battalion. As part of the ‘Land Release Project’, the Demining Battalion has already cleared 88 mines at the location, and has now switched its focus to the issue of cluster munitions.
