The Deputy Commander of EUFOR, Brigadier General Legoza, attended a joint training activity between EUFOR troops and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Kiseljak, as part of the ongoing ‘Combined Response 26’ exercise.
The training, conducted as a Command Post Exercise (CPX), brought together personnel from EUFOR Multinational Battalion and troops from 2nd Battalion of the 5th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina to enhance coordination, planning, and decision-making processes in a simulated operational environment. The activity forms a key component of ongoing ‘Combined Response 26’, which will culminate with a live exercise in Manjača next week.
This joint engagement reflects the strong and continuous cooperation between EUFOR and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, aimed at strengthening interoperability and ensuring collective readiness to respond effectively to any potential security challenges.
Brigadier General Legoza highlighted the importance of such training, stating:
“Joint exercises like this are essential to maintaining our readiness and strengthening our cooperation. Through continuous training and partnership, we ensure that we are prepared to safeguard peace and stability across Bosnia and Herzegovina for all citizens.”
EUFOR continues to operate under its mandate in support of the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, working closely with domestic partners to maintain a safe and secure environment and contribute to long-term stability across the country.
