Today at Camp Butmir, the Dutch flag was proudly raised, marking the official start of the Netherlands Armed Forces’ mission within the EUFOR Althea Multinational Battalion in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In the presence of COM EUFOR Major General Florin Marian Barbu, COS EUFOR Brigadier General Tibor Szabó, and representatives from the Netherlands, the troops were warmly welcomed by Lieutenant Colonel Ioan Vasile Rus, Commander of the Multinational Battalion, who wished them success in their mission.
