On Thursday 7 June 2018 COMEUFOR continued his planned visits to the Armed Forces BiH by beginning the day with a visit to the Military Training Area Manjača where Hungarian troops from the EUFOR Multinational Battalion were taking part in combined training exercise with 6th Brigade AFBiH. COMEUFOR was joined on the visit by Lieutenant General Senad Mašović, Chief of the Joint Staff AFBiH and Colonel Radovan Jović, Commander of the 6th Infantry Brigade. The successful exercise was based around a Peace Support Operations scenario and demonstrated excellent teamwork between EUFOR and AFBiH soldiers.

On completion of the exercise COMEUFOR and Lieutenant General Mašović met with the soldiers and gave them feedback on their performance before receiving updates from 6th Brigade Officers and Officers from the EUFOR Capacity Building and Training Team.
For the next visit COMEUFOR flew to Camp Dubrave in Tuzla with Lieutenant General Mašović to the Armoured Battalion of the Tactical Support Brigade AFBiH. Here they witnessed the M113 tank in action.

The third visit of the day was to visit the Commander of the 5th Brigade AFBiH, Colonel Emir Klicko, where COMEUFOR and Lieutenant General Mašović met the Colonel’s staff and gave interviews to the press.

Finally the Generals visited the museum of the 5th Brigade before flying back to Camp Butmir. Another successful day which enhanced the already strong links between EUFOR and the AFBiH.
