Italian military personnel who have arrived by sea to participate in Exercise EUFOR Quick Response 2022

Over 250 troops have arrived from Italy, with military vehicles and equipment. A ship carrying a further cohort of Italian soldiers and equipment is due to arrive shortly. The Battalion of Italian troops will then move in convoy by road to Sarajevo.

In the coming days, all twenty EUFOR nations will come together for this exercise which will take place in different urban and rural locations across Bosnia and Herzegovina, in coordination with AF BiH, local communities and LEAs who will be contributing logistical and administrative support.

As in previous years, the additional troops will temporarily augment EUFOR numbers and will participate in tactical exercises and patrolling.
