The Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AFBiH), in cooperation with the European Union Force (EUFOR), will conduct the multinational military exercise COMBINED RESPONSE 25 from 8 June to 13 June in the regions of Bihać and Manjača.
The deployment of EUFOR forces will begin on 8 June, with redeployment scheduled for 13 June. During this time, local residents may notice an increased presence of troops and military vehicles in the area.
Hosted by the AFBiH, this joint exercise is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen international military relations through combined training activities. COMBINED RESPONSE 25 is specifically designed to rehearse and refine Peace Support Operations (PSO) tactics at Company and Battalion levels.
The exercise will focus on enhancing:
• Command and control capabilities
• PSO planning and execution
• Interoperability among multinational military units
A key highlight of the exercise will be Distinguished Visitors Day (DV Day), held on 12 June, featuring a dynamic display of operational capabilities. This event will be attended by COM EUFOR Major General Florin Marian Barbu and senior staff from the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Further details regarding DV Day, including media invitations, will be provided in the coming days. COMBINED RESPONSE 25 reflects the shared commitment of EUFOR and AF BiH to maintaining a secure and stable environment, while promoting professional military cooperation.
