EUFOR’s annual multinational exercise, Quick Response 2026, is taking place from 22nd August to 03rd September across Bosnia and Herzegovina. It involves troops from 24 contributing nations, currently deployed in-theatre that will be temporarily augmented by reserve units from 8 nations.
“Quick Response 2026” is a key activity through which EUFOR tests its ability to deploy rapidly, coordinate effectively, and act in support of maintaining a safe and secure environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In accordance with starting of this exercise COM EUFOR Major General Maurizio Fronda, together with Minister of Defence of BiH Mr. Zukan Helez, and Deputy minister of Security Mr. Ivica Bošnjak, will host press conference in Camp Butmir on 17th of August, 2026 at 10.30.
Media representatives wishing to attend are requested to submit their accreditation details no later than 15 August 2026 at 16:00 hrs.
To allow sufficient time for security procedures, accredited media personnel are requested to arrive at the pedestrian gate of Camp Butmir no later than 09.15 hrs.
