EUFOR Commander Major General Maurizio Fronda recently met with Reisul-ulema Husein ef. Kavazovic in Sarajevo, continuing EUFOR’s engagement with key leaders of communities and institutions across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The conversation focused on the central role that religious communities have in promoting dialogue, enhancing mutual understanding, and building trust amongst people. Both emphasised that respectful dialogue remains the foundation upon which reconciliation, peaceful coexistence, and long-term stability can be developed.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views on current topics in Bosnia and Herzegovina and reflect on the shared importance of preserving a safe and secure environment for all citizens.
Reisul-ulema Husein ef. Kavazovic expressed his appreciation for EUFOR’s ongoing efforts in safeguarding peace and stability throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina. Major General Fronda reaffirmed that strong partnerships, open communication, and cooperation with local institutions and community leaders remain essential in contributing to resilient communities and lasting stability.
