Today, 9 February 2026, the EUFOR Commander, Major General Maurizio Fronda, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Krisztián Pósa.
The meeting reaffirmed the strong and constructive partnership between EUFOR and Hungary, grounded in mutual trust, transparency, and a shared commitment to peace, security, and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Discussions focused on ongoing cooperation, the regional security environment, and the importance of continued coordination and open dialogue.
Major General Fronda underlined EUFOR’s appreciation for Hungary’s contribution to the mission, emphasizing that close cooperation and transparency remain essential to the successful implementation of EUFOR’s mandate. He reiterated EUFOR’s commitment to maintaining a visible, credible, and impartial presence, contributing to stability and confidence throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.
