Today at Camp Butmir, COM EUFOR Major General Florin Marian Barbu, DCOM EUFOR Brigadier General Uberto Incisa di Camerana, and COS EUFOR Brigadier General Tibor Szabó had the pleasure of welcoming HE Martin Pfister, Swiss Federal Councillor and Head of the Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport.
During their official discussions, they addressed the current security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. COM EUFOR emphasized EUFOR’s vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all citizens, and reaffirmed the importance of ongoing cooperation with local partners. He also highlighted the significant contribution of the Swiss presence within the Force.
HE Martin Pfister also took the opportunity to meet with the Swiss contingent deployed at Camp Butmir.
