The Chairman of the Austrian National Council, Mr Wolfgang Sobotka, visited EUFOR at Camp Butmir, on Thursday 11 April.
After inspecting the Honour Guard, provided by EUFOR's Multinational Battalion, Chairman Sobotka met with COMEUFOR, Major General Martin Dorfer, during an office call.

On 5 April 2019 a round table on the contribution of women to peace support operations was held in the Army Hall, Sarajevo, in cooperation with the Ministries of Security and Defence.

The new EUFOR Operation Commander, Lieutenant General Olivier Rittimann, visited EUFOR at Camp Butmir, from Monday 1 to Thursday 4 April.
Also visiting was Lieutenant General Esa Pulkkinen, Director General of the EU Military Staff, who visited 1 - 3 April.

Despite the heavy clouds over Sarajevo, spirits were high in Camp Butmir on Wednesday 27 March with the official flag-raising ceremony to mark the occasion of Portugal re-joining EUFOR.

On Tuesday 22 January 2019, a vital Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Zenica Cantonal Hospital and EUFOR in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The EUFOR Operation Commander, General Sir James Everard, visited EUFOR at Camp Butmir, from Sunday 3 to Tuesday 5 February.
The Operation Commander spent 2 days at Camp Butmir where he met with COMEUFOR, Major General Martin Dorfer, and COM NATO HQ Sarajevo, Brigadier General Marti Bissell.

On 12 January 2019 EUFOR personnel gathered in Camp Butmir for a remembrance ceremony marking 11 years since the deaths of 11 servicemen from the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia who were killed in a helicopter accident.

On Friday 1 February 2019, EUFOR in Bosnia and Herzegovina signed a second Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for clinical care, this time with Mostar Cantonal Hospital and Mostar University Clinical Hospital.

On Thursday 20th December, a delegation headed by Mario Kunasek, Austrian Minister of Defence, visited EUFOR in Bosnia and Herzegovina at Camp Butmir, Sarajevo.
