COM EUFOR Major General László Sticz and DCOM EUFOR Brigadier General Lorenzo Dal Maso had a meeting with Minister of Defence Zukan Helez and Deputy Minister Aleksandar Goganović, which was followed by a meeting with Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of BiH (AFBiH) Major General Gojko Knežević, Deputy CHOD of Resources Brigadier General Mirsad Ahmić and DCHOD Operations Brigadier General Tomo Kolenda, in order to discuss the security situation of BiH and the fields of cooperation between EUFOR and the Armed Forces of BiH.
COM EUFOR congratulated for BiH receiving green light for the EU accession talks, and highlighted the importance of joint trainings between AFBiH and in-country and reserve forces of EUFOR.
During the meetings, Brig.Gen. Dal Maso and his role as DCOM EUFOR were also introduced.
