After learning that that Mr. Hamid Bašagić died yesterday in BIHAC hospital as a result of injuries sustained during a car accident involving a EUFOR vehicle, Commander EUFOR, Major General Dieter Heidecker today sent a letter of condolence and sympathy to the wife of the deceased.

The accident occurred on 10th August 2013, near the town of CAZIN, when the EUFOR vehicle collided with the car being driven by Mr Bašagić.
