It has been a busy week for the EUFOR Soccer Cup with regional tournaments held in Gracanica on 22-23rd October and Zenica on 24th October.
The EUFOR Chief of Staff Brigadier General Ernő Péter Siposs formally opened the Zenica tournament which was held in the impressive three pitch Gradska Dvorana sports hall. The fun packed tournament saw 32 boys’ teams and 16 girls’ teams play non-stop football throughout the day.
Earlier in the week 16 boys’ teams took part in the Gracanica regional tournament that was held in the Dvorana Luke sports hall.
Members of the Armed Forces BiH provided the match referees for both of this week’s tournaments.
There are four remaining regional tournaments that will be played in the coming weeks in Brcko, Tuzla, Mostar and Tomislavgrad. All the successful teams will go on to compete in the grand finale which will be held in Sarajevo’s Zetra Sports Hall on 23 and 24 November.
