Between 12-13 March, COM EUFOR Major General László Sticz attended the Budapest Balkans Forum in Budapest, organized by Hungarian Institute of International Affairs where he participated the panel 'Security Maintained: International Actors and Missions on the Ground' with Commander of NATO HQ Sarajevo Brigadier General Pamela McGaha and DCOM KFOR Brigadier General Federico Bernacca.
Mine Risk Education (MRE) is among the longest running and most widely known activities of EUFOR. With the help of MRE, several hundreds of thousands of people all over Bosnia and Herzegovina have already been educated about how to reduce the risk of landmines and Unexploded Ordnance (UXO), greatly contributing to a safer and more secure environment in BiH.
