COMEUFOR, Major General Reinhard Trischak, visited two EUFOR Liaison Observation Team (LOT) houses in the area of Eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina. He spent time with soldiers who man the LOT houses in Visegrad and Foca.

On 21 February 2020, COMEUFOR, Major General Reinhard Trischak, visited three EUFOR Liaison Observation Team (LOT) houses in the area of Central Bosnia and Herzegovina. He spent time with soldiers who man the LOT houses in Zavidovići, Zenica and Travnik.

On 31 October, members of the EUFOR Liaison and Observation Team houses in Foca and Novo Sarajevo donated blood at the Red Cross Clinic in Novo Sarajevo in order to help those who most need it within Bosnia and Herzegovina.

One of the many tasks of the EUFOR’s Multinational Battalion (MNBN) is to work in close coordination with the various Liaison Observation Team (LOT) houses situated across Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was for this purpose that the Commander of the MNBN (COMMNBN), Lieutenant Colonel Manfred Leitner, visited the Slovakian LOT house in Višegrad on 22 January 2020.

COMEUFOR, Major General Reinhard Trischak flew to Livno and Jablanica on Wednesday 23 October in order to visit the Liaison and Observation Team houses in those locations. Whilst at the houses he spoke with the Turkish soldiers who run them and gained valuable update briefings about the security situation in each of the regions.

On 10 December 2019, personnel from the EUFOR Liaison Observation Team in Foča, in close connection with the Association of High School Students of BiH, gave a presentation to raise awareness of Operation EUFOR Althea.

EUFOR’s troops in the Liaison and Observation Team house (LOT house) in Foca in conjunction with other Slovakian soldiers in BiH made a donation of 500KM to go towards medical treatment for a Foca man who was seriously injured earlier this year. Nemanja Starović ,who is 26 years old, was injured in Montenegro when jumping into the sea.
