On the 9 November 2017, Commander EUFOR, Major General Anton Waldner, visited the EUFOR LOT House in Bratunac. The visit allowed the Major General to gain valuable situational awareness of the area. The Major General received briefings from the Liaison Observation Team based in Bratunac as well as touring the local community to experience the EUFOR LOT house involvement with the community first hand.

Recently the EUFOR LOT House in Doboj joined forces with police officers from Doboj East Police Station and the EUFOR International Military Police based in Camp Butmir, Sarajevo, to raise awareness of road safety with school children in the local area. This EUFOR House initiative was in response to a series of road accidents involving children that has occurred in the area recently and was aimed at improving road safety and raising awareness of safe movement on the way to and from school.

On the 13 July, soldiers from the EUFOR House FOČA participated in the tenth Jubilee Festival of Gastronomic Offer "Gastro FOČA 2017". This was the first time that the EUFOR House had competed in the event which saw around thirty caterers, healthy food producers and other exhibitors from the local community and municipalities gather on the FOČA island "BRIONI".

On 24 August 2017 the EUFOR Liaison and Observation Team (LOT) in Doboj conducted a reconnaissance flight over their area of responsibility. The flight was carried out with one of EUFOR’s Agusta Bell 212 helicopters and saw representatives of Doboj Police on board.

On the 23 and 24 June 17, the EUFOR Commander, Major General Anton Waldner, visited 5 different Liaison and Observation Team (LOT) houses in BiH. The routine visits allow the Major General to gain valuable situational awareness. He visited LOT houses in Zenica , Zavidovici ,Travnik which were Turkish run, and 2 houses in Banja Luka run by the Romanians and Chileans. The Major general received briefings from the LOT houses as well as touring the local community to experience the LOT house involvement with the community first hand.

On 2 August 2017 the EUFOR Liaison and Observation Team based in the EUFOR House in Doboj received EUFOR Chief of Staff Brigadier General Szpisják. He was briefed by the officer in charge, First Lieutenant Adam Mirus, on the team structure and specific activities in area of responsibility.

On Friday 3 February personnel from the Slovakian manned LOT House Novo Sarajevo delivered groceries and kitchen accessories to Caritas, a Catholic charity in Ilidza who provide free meals to those who cannot afford it themselves. In the afternoon they travelled to a village called Kamenica in a Bosniak area. Here they handed out toys, clothes and food to 10 children, from less privileged families, who were delighted to receive the gifts.
