On 24th January COMEUFOR, Major General Martin Dorfer, visited LOT house Bratunac to receive updates and meet new staff members.
LOT house commander, Captain Gernot Marschnig of the Austrian Army, welcomed COMEUFOR and introduced him to the 8-man team.

COMEUFOR, Major General Martin Dorfer spent the last days of October visiting a number of the EUFOR LOT houses in BiH.

The seventeen EUFOR LOT Houses throughout BiH have been looking back over their work in 2017. The EUFOR LOT Houses form a key component in EUFOR's maintenance of a safe and secure environment in BiH through regular interaction with local populations.

EUFOR retains its presence throughout BiH through teams of soldiers living in EUFOR LOT houses across the country. In the past week COMEUFOR, Major General Martin DORFER, has been continuing his visits to meet the staff of the houses and people in the local communities.

Commander EUFOR, Major General Anton Waldner visited the towns of Doboj, Derventa, Banja Luka and Travnik in order to see for himself the valuable co-operation between EUFOR personnel and the local community.

As part of his routine schedule as COMEUFOR, Major General Anton Waldner visited the EUFOR LOT Houses in Cazin and Livno to get the latest information face-to-face from the personnel who live as part of their local communities in the two most westerly EUFOR locations. During these visits, he also met local mayors and dignitaries, in order to ensure EUFOR and local authorities cooperate closely at every level.

On the 9 November 2017, Commander EUFOR, Major General Anton Waldner, visited the EUFOR LOT House in Bratunac. The visit allowed the Major General to gain valuable situational awareness of the area. The Major General received briefings from the Liaison Observation Team based in Bratunac as well as touring the local community to experience the EUFOR LOT house involvement with the community first hand.
