Slovakian members of EUFOR’s Liaison and Observation Team house in Foca helped hand over humanitarian aid to Red Cross representatives in Foca and Cajnice. Two lorry loads of supplies which consisted mostly of clothing, personal hygiene kits, shoes, toys and cleaning articles were delivered from the Slovakian government organization SlovakAid.
Representatives from the Slovakian Ministry of Interior, Slovakian Embassy, Slovakian Military Ecumenical and Pastoral service and the Red Cross along with the Mayor of Cajnice were present during the handover. The aid will be packaged and distributed by the Red Cross, mainly to those living in rural areas, based on individual needs. This is the eighth time that SlovakAid has brought aid to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
