Today at Camp Butmir, EUFOR proudly welcomed Denmark as its 25th troop-contributing nation during an official flag-raising ceremony.
In the presence of COM EUFOR Major General Florin Marian Barbu, His Excellency Åge Sandal Møller, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Bosnia and Herzegovina, DCOM EUFOR Brigadier General Uberto Incisa di Camerana, COS EUFOR Brigadier General Tibor Szabó, and EUFOR HQ personnel, the Danish flag was raised alongside those of fellow contributing nations.
Denmark now stands with 24 other nations in support of a safe and secure environment for all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reinforcing the unity and strength behind EUFOR Operation Althea.
