Today COMEUFOR Major General Alexander Platzer met with Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Parliamentary Assembly Mr.Bakir Izetbegovićy. This was their first official introductory meeting and a positive discussion was had.

EUFOR in BiH remains committed to the key objectives of Operation Althea within BiH. By continually engaging with important offices such as the House of Peoples, EUFOR continues to assist in creating the conditions to deliver the long term political objective of a stable, viable, peaceful and multi-ethnic BIH, co-operating peacefully with its neighbours and irreversibly on track towards EU membership.
