Visit of Students from Swedish University
On 30th April 2010 a group of 8 masters students from Sweden’s Uppsala University visited EUFOR BiH. The aim of their tour was learn more about the practical realities of how the EU is supporting post conflict stabilization, the rule of law and enhancing security.
The Students were welcomed personally to Camp Butmir Sarajevo by the COS EUFOR, Brigadier General Gerd Bischof, and they received detailed briefings from the EU Political Advisor Mr Per Normark and the EUFOR Spokesperson Major Bruce Foster.
The subsequent question and answer session was wide ranging and particularly informative. EUFOR BiH welcomes groups of students who wish to find out more about OPERATION ALTHEA and EU peacekeeping missions.
