The EUFOR Soccer Cup 2012 continues to gain momentum, with regional tournaments being played in Brcko and Tuzla this week.
On 31 October the EUFOR Spokesperson Lieutenant Commander David Collins formally opened the Tuzla tournament which is being held at the Bambi sports hall.  The fun packed tournament will see 32 boys’ teams and 16 girls’ teams play non-stop football over the next three days.

Earlier this week on 29th and 30th October, 16 boys’ teams and eight girls’ teams participated in the Brcko regional tournament which was held in the Vaso Pelagic sports hall.
Members of the Armed Forces BiH were once again on hand to provide the match referees for both of this week’s tournaments.
After the Tuzla tournament has finished, there will be only two regional tournaments remaining to be played.  These will take place at Mostar and Tomislavgrad next week.
A total of 285 teams from across Bosnia and Herzegovina are taking part in the EUFOR Soccer Cup 2012.  The successful teams from all eight regional tournaments will go on to compete in the grand finale which will be held in Sarajevo’s Zetra Sports Hall on 23 and 24 November.
