On 25 May 2020, the 3rd Platoon of the Hungarian Company of EUFOR’s Multinational Battalion, as the current Quick Reaction Force (QRF) platoon, conducted a checkpoint training exercise.
On 27 April 2020, a patrol by the Turkish company of EUFOR’s Multinational Battalion visited Foča. While in the area the patrol also visited the Scepan Polje border crossing point.
On 26 March 2020, the Turkish Company of EUFOR’s Multinational Battalion conducted a patrol to the border crossing points at Zvornik, Karakaj and Sepak. The Commander of the Multinational Battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Alfred Steingresz, joined the patrol to witness his troops conducting their operational tasking.
On 25 February 2020, the change of command of EUFOR’s Multinational Battalion (MNBN) was marked with a military ceremony and parade at Camp Butmir, Sarajevo. COMEUFOR, Major General Reinhard Trischak, handed the colours of the MNBN from Lieutenant Colonel Manfred Leitner to Lieutenant Colonel Alfred Steingresz to signify the Change of Command.
A patrol of the EUFOR Multinational Battalion (MNBN) had an eventful day on 30 January 2020, as they provided roadside assistance to not one, but two cars that left the road in the vicinity of Tuzla.
