Poor weather and low clouds hinder air operations but EUFOR remains on standby

EUFOR air assets remain on standby but low clouds still do not provide sufficient visibility to allow safe air operations. The conditions have also affected EUFOR troops across BiH; in particular the LOT house in Doboj was flooded and could not be evacuated yesterday.

As soon as weather conditions improve, EUFOR stands ready to start air operations with three helicopters, two of them equipped with winch systems. According to the latest weather forecast this is likely to happen later today.
