Badge Ceremony of the European Union Force Multinational Battalion

On the 13 January 2016 at Camp Butmir, there was the badge ceremony for the new Hungarian soldiers of the European Union Force (EUFOR) Multinational Battalion (MNBN). Following this symbolic ceremony both the Hungarian Company, and staff serving soldiers, were formally accepted in to the MNBN by their Commanding Officer - Lieutenant Colonel Reinhard Bacher (Austrian Army).

EUFOR Multinational Battalion conducts combined training with Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina

From the 5th until the 9th of October, the Multinational Battalion (MNBN) of EUFOR and infantry from the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AFBiH) conducted combined training in Dubrave. Lead by the Capacity Building and Training branch of EUFOR, the joint training was set up to instruct soldiers tactically in peace support operation techniques. EUFOR were represented by the Hungarian company of the MNBN, which had advisory responsibilities during the training.

EUFOR Hungarian Multinational Battalion contingent conduct mountain walk

On the 1st of October Hungarian members of the EUFOR Multinational Battalion took part in a teambuilding exercise, walking in the area around Bjelašnica. 130 people were on the walk, the second time that the MNBN have conducted the activity this year. Joining the Hungarian soldiers were other members of EUFOR including Austrian staff.
